Another week, another Wednesday. This week I've been working on 3 projects - but one is finished so you'll see that on Friday - can you guess which project it is? It's been a long one so I'm excited to share it - it's very cute. Anyhoo onto my WIP's:
Come Josephine Afghan
This is my potato chip, take it with me, knit in public project. I'm knitting 100 small squares to make an afghan which I'm calling Come Josephine because I started it whilst watching Titanic - everything has a reason right? It's just plain garter stitch, nothing overly complicated just a nice simple knit. I'll be sharing more of this in my year of projects post next week.
Lenny The Elephant/Esther the Eccentric Elephant
Look at the progress!!!! He's now got a whole body, legs, a trunk and one ear. Just one more ear and 2 arms to go - then it's time to stuff!!!! I'm so excited. I'm hoping to finish this as part of the HPKCHC (harry potter knitting and crochet house cup) this month but we'll see.
In other news I've had a couple of goodish days, I feel like I'm making progress - it's slow and I'm still having really bad days but I'm getting there. Once again thank you for your patience with the lack of blog posts, and for being so supportive.
I'm playing along with Ginny and Tami, go check them out and see what everyone else is working on this week!!!!

I love that elephant! I've been considering an elephant as my first plushie, but I'm a little nervous about making something that needs to be 3D and a proper shape without, say, a foot inside. I'll look forward to seeing him stuffed!
ReplyDeleteYour elephant is looking cute - I really like the colours of the yarn. Good luck with the afghan, sounds like a perfect relaxing knit :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your elephant. It's definitely my favourite knitted animal. Your afghan sounds amazing, not sure I have the patience for sewing all those beautiful little squares together. I can't wait to see more
ReplyDeleteThe elephant is going to be hilarious! And I bet the afghan will turn out just stunningly. Although I do have to commend anyone patient enough to 'sew' all those little squares together!
ReplyDeleteCute elephant!
ReplyDeleteAww, the elephant looks so sweet already!
ReplyDeleteFreaking cute elephant! Love it!
ReplyDeleteYou have so much patience to make a blanket! I've tried but I had no motivation and gave up, lol. The elephant is so cute already, I'm looking forward to seeing him finished :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, can't wait to see the elephant. Love your idea of doing small squares, I usually get so distracted from things like that!
ReplyDeleteCute elephant, can't wait so see him finished.
ReplyDeleteI *heart* the concept of your Come Josephine afghan - what a brilliant idea. I am already looking forward to see the end product.
ReplyDeleteAnd the elephant? Well, I am in lurve!
Your elephant is coming along so well. I can't wait to see him when he's done. Also your blanket is going to lovely. XD
