So it's the first day of Knitting and Crochet Blog Week by
Eskimimimakes. This is my first year joining in and I'm excited to play along. There are various topics and even a wildcard topic if you're not loving the normal topics!!! Today is all about colour.........
When I think about colour, I think about my life. I love all colours - I love to work with all colours both in knitting and in art. My yarn life contains all the colours of the rainbow, I don't think I'm biased towards just one or two colours - I love them ALL:
I know that some people choose colour to go with the colours in their wardrobe, or their favourite colour - I don't care about this. If I don't have something that matches then I would go get something, and although my favourite colour is purple, I am aware that there are other colours that I love.
What's your favourite colour? Do you tend to stick to the same colours all the time or are you more eccentric with the colour?

I love blue, green, purple and natural tones most. Although I try to be a bit more couragous and try out more yellow, red and orange. Mainly in my beekeeper's quilt, it is perfect for some experiments. Are you joining the hexipuff madness too?

ReplyDeletePurple is a perfectly wonderful favorite color - it's definitely high on my list. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun stash! For me, I tend to buy yarns that appeal to me at the moment. Typically texture and color sway me and I walk out of my LYS with newbies that I didn't intend to buy when I first walked in!

ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of great colours in your stash! When I buy clothes I buy lots of different colours, but when I buy ysrn I always seem to be drawn to blues. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the variety of colors in your stash. Like you, I love pretty much all colors and never use my wardrobe as a deciding factor in choosing which colors to knit with.

ReplyDeleteI love purple and green and have some articles of clothing of those colors, but not enough. I'm more about accents esp in a beanie. I like those blues in your stash.
